BioA little about me:
My name is Andy I was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. I went to the University of Toledo and graduated from there with a BS in Electrical Engineering in 2001. After college I took a contract job in Columbus, Ohio and spent a year there. When the contract ended I moved back to Toledo. I did quite a few odd jobs back home while looking for engineering work. Eventually in May of 2003 I packed up my stuff and moved to the South.
I ended up moving to Charlotte, NC and moved in with my little brother. After a few months I landed an engineering job with a defense contractor. Soon after that I began this journal.
A few of the reasons I started this journal were to document my daily life, meet other people with my same interests, and improve my writing skills.
I currently started a new job working as an electrical engineer for a company that does calibrations, predictive maintenance, and system level work for many different industries. In September of 2006 I purchased a house in a little town West of Charlotte. I live with my dog, Kiesha, and have been dating a southern girl, Lara, since November 2004. I play the saxophone and like to support local arts.
Early in the morning, around 5:40 AM, on Saturday October 13, 2007 my dog Petey passed away. I was with him as he passed. He was a good dog and my friend. I saved Petey from the pound back in August of 1996. He was a pure breed Shih Tzu. He will be missed.
